Digital Connectors Introduces Team Member: Alonzo Rathers

Hi, I'm Alonzo. I am 17 years old. The high school that I attend is Crane Tech Prep. The subjects I’m most good at are reading, math, and science. As a Digital Connector of the Near West Side, I plan to become better and faster in typing and teach others to have better typing skills as well.

Digital Connectors April Updates:

The things we’ve been doing these last couple of weeks. We worked on our typing skills that was very fun. All of our typing skills are raised up to a new level now thanks to Ms. Pam having us working on them every week. We also learned more about the computers by doing the gcflearnfree.org quizzes on Computer Basics, Emailing, Power Point and Internet Basics. The easy part of these past weeks was that working hard and earning some points. The hard part was that we had to memorize some hard computers terms. Finally in these past couple of weeks has been a nice and good influence on me and it makes me happy to be in this Digital Connector program. Now we are preparing for our Community Technology Workshop on May 17, 2006.
